high pressure & high temperature reactors

For applications requiring temperatures above 250°C or pressures above 300 bar, the standard autoclave design with a plug and screwed head becomes unsuitable. This is either due to the pressure exerting forces incompatible with the strength of a threaded connection, or because high temperatures require low-compressible seals that necessitate precise torque. In such cases, TOP Industrie designs and manufactures batch reactors with bolted heads, where sealing is ensured by Kalrez, PTFE, or metal gaskets. Just like with our quick-closing autoclaves, TOP Industrie offers an almost infinite range of diameter/height combinations, allowing users to choose the volume and H/D ratio best suited to their experiments.

Features and Benefits

  • High Pressure and Temperature Resistance:
Capable of operating at pressures up to 2000 bar and temperatures up to 600°C, these reactors are ideal for the most demanding experimental conditions, including hydrothermal synthesis, which can reach pressures up to 7000 bar.
  • Customizable Design:
With a nearly limitless combination of diameter and height, users can select the volume and height-to-diameter ratio that best fits their experimental needs.
  • Comprehensive Control:
The entire reactor unit can be controlled via a touch screen or custom LabVIEW software on a PC, allowing for precise monitoring and adjustment of pressure, temperature, stirring speed, and more.
  • Versatility in Applications:
Whether for research in academic settings or industrial experimentation, the range of available accessories and peripherals ensures that these reactors can be adapted to a wide variety of processes.
